Concussions / TBI

Traumatic brain injuries and concussions are disruptions to normal brain function that results from an external injury to the brain, typically by blunt force trauma. There are four main symptom categories of TBIs, which are grouped as physical (headaches), emotional (irritability), sleep (irregular sleep patterns), and thinking (difficulty remembering new information). Treatments can include medication (diuretics or acetaminophen), rehabilitation, or neurofeedback therapy.
